Privacy Policy
Jericho is a shared planning and memories app. This notice describes the current beta’s data practices, including browser storage and optional integrations.
Photo safety review
Before sharing new photos, you must agree that a Jericho operator may review them for prohibited content. Submitted photos are held privately until approved; rejected photos are not shared with your partner. Existing shared photos remain accessible. Contact jerichoconnect.support@gmail.com for review or removal requests. Do not submit intimate images. Pending and rejected submissions are removed after 30 days; approved review copies are removed after 30 days while the shared album copy follows the normal account and shared-content retention rules.
ZIP lookup
The optional California ZIP lookup runs on your device using bundled Census ZIP-area geography. We do not save the ZIP, put it in your account or send it to a lookup service. The input is cleared after selection. If you finish a shared swipe game, its county and chosen activities are saved so your partner can play the same set. Some ZIP areas cross counties or are absent from the Census data; choose the correct county when prompted.
Information you provide
Google and Apple sign-in are currently unavailable. If enabled in a future release and you choose either option, Supabase Auth receives a provider identifier, email address (which may be an Apple private relay address), and available profile information. You still choose a Jericho username and display name and confirm eligibility and the terms. Your provider email and sign-in credentials are not part of the shared partner space. Linking a provider while signed in keeps your current Jericho account. Basic sign-in does not connect Google Calendar; that has its own consent.
Accounts use a username, password and display name; a nickname is fine. We record your confirmation that you are at least 13 and the version of the terms accepted. We do not ask for your birth date, legal name, gender, phone number, payment card or personal email address at signup. The authentication service uses a generated username@accounts.invalid identifier internally; it is not a deliverable email address.
You choose whether to save places, coordinates, plans, calendar events, gift ideas, reviews, photos and names. These can reveal personal information. Only upload content you are entitled to share. Do not upload passwords, identity documents or other sensitive records.
If you email support, we receive your email address and the message and attachments you send. Support correspondence is handled through Google Gmail to respond to support, safety and privacy enquiries. Send only the information needed for your request.
Why information is used and who can see it
Information is used to authenticate accounts, save and synchronize content, connect two accounts by invitation, provide requested integrations, prevent misuse, and handle privacy requests. Accepting an invitation shares and combines content with your linked partner, including photos, gifts and imported calendar details. Your account remains separate. Your partner may retain content they have already seen or copied. Leaving a space does not recall those copies.
Guest content stays in this browser. Signed-in content is also stored online, with browser copies and recovery drafts. Site administrators and infrastructure providers may access information as needed to operate, support and secure the service. This is not an end-to-end encrypted service.
Bucket lists and voting games
Bucket lists, two-choice rounds and your submitted activity preferences are stored online in your shared space. Swipe saves your yes and no choices when you finish a game. Each account can see its own preferences; unmatched partner choices are not returned. A mutual yes appears in Options even if the partner plays on a later day. Removing an option clears that activity’s saved preference for both people, so future games may match it again. You can clear all your own saved activity preferences in Games → Swipe. A solo-first game saves its activity list, budget range and a partner invitation. Your partner can defer it to Notifications; invitations expire after 30 days, and only the newest ten are kept. Invitations include the activities but never your individual yes/no answers. Closing a two-choice round clears its ballots but does not clear preferences already saved from that game. A changed partner connection invalidates old rounds and preferences when the feature is next accessed. Administrators may access stored choices for service operation. Bucket lists remain with their original shared space and are not automatically merged when linking accounts. Suggested activities come from a built-in collection; your list is not sent to an AI provider.
Challenge and Would You Rather
Solo Would You Rather and Challenge on this device run in memory and do not save their answers online. Linked-device games save the latest round in your shared space. Would You Rather stores five selected questions, each player’s choices and partner guesses. Your partner cannot see your answers or guesses until both people submit; both can then see the results. Starting a new round replaces the previous answers. Challenge stores the latest prompt, assigned player and completion or skip status. Changing partners resets old game data when accessed; deleting either account removes these shared game records. Administrators may access stored records to operate the service. These games do not collect recordings, drawings, photos, or location data, and do not send answers to an AI provider.
Service providers and external content
| Provider | Purpose and information involved |
|---|---|
| OpenAI Sites / Cloudflare | Website delivery. Technical requests can include IP address, browser information, request times and paths. |
| Supabase | Authentication, account records, shared content, privacy requests, and optional integration records. Passwords are handled by the authentication service. |
| OpenStreetMap, Photon / Komoot, Nominatim | The map feature is currently disabled. Its code and previously saved places are retained for possible reactivation. |
| Wikipedia / Wikimedia; TMDB when configured | Movie searches, descriptions and poster requests. Providers receive requested search or image information and technical connection data. Some movie details use a server proxy. |
| Google Calendar — optional | Only after a separate connection and sharing confirmation. Calendar access credentials and synchronization records support the connection; imported event details can be visible to your linked partner. Use the Calendar disconnect control to stop the connection and Google account settings to revoke access. Disconnecting does not necessarily remove previously imported events. |
| Browser push service — optional | After you enable notifications, a device subscription endpoint and keys allow shared-space notifications. Disable through the app’s notification settings and browser permissions. |
Links to Google Maps, JustWatch, stores and other websites open external services governed by their own policies. The current app has no advertising or analytics SDK and does not implement sale of personal information or targeted advertising.
Choices and data minimization
Activity sharing with your partner is off until enabled on this device. Remembering your username and keeping you signed in are separate optional controls. Place searches are submitted explicitly. You can use a nickname and leave optional fields blank. Browser storage controls are described in the Cookie Policy.
Retention and deletion
Content stays available while saved in your account or shared space. You can remove individual items and submit a data deletion request or account deletion request. Requests are stored for manual review and show a reference and status. Submission is not immediate deletion. Shared content and another person’s rights must be considered before removal. We do not promise a fixed completion or backup-expiration period that has not been established.
Browser copies and unsynced drafts remain until cleared; use Privacy & account controls → Clear this device’s app data. Repeat on other devices. Provider security logs and backups may follow provider retention settings. Copies saved by your partner or external services cannot be erased through this app.
Your rights and contact
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to uses of your information, or complain to a privacy regulator. Correct saved content in the app. Signed-in users can lodge deletion requests in the privacy panel without supplying a reason. See contact information and current limitations for requests that need further assistance.
Children and changes
This service is for people 13 and older and is not intended for children under 13. We ask for an age confirmation rather than a date of birth. If underage use is identified, it needs review and removal of affected personal data. An age checkbox is not identity verification. Material changes to practices will require an updated notice and, where needed, a new choice.
Free and Jericho Plus — planned subscriptions
Subscriptions have not launched. The current beta has no checkout, recurring billing or automatic charges. The Free/Plus demonstration uses example data and does not start a real trial, change your real account plan, or save a payment method.
Planned access
Calendar viewing, adding, editing and deleting, Midnight Blue, Pastel Pink, automatic seasons, account linking, saved-content viewing, visible-content export, content removal, privacy controls, support and account deletion will remain free. Plus is planned for movie search and saved-list changes, bucket-list additions and completion, gift-list additions and changes, Google Calendar connection and sync, the full current local activity catalog and ZIP lookup, unlimited Swipe, additional colors and manual season selection. A linked partner receives access while the purchasing account has an active entitlement; both people retain their own accounts.
Planned trial, charges and cancellation
The proposed U.S. prices are $4.99 per month, billed monthly, or $39.99 per year, billed as one annual payment. For eligible customers, the planned introductory offer is 14 days free, followed by the full price of the selected plan. The subscription would automatically renew until canceled. Final localized prices, any applicable taxes, trial eligibility and renewal details must be displayed in the actual Apple purchase confirmation. No future charge is authorized by this notice or by creating a Jericho account.
The planned iPhone purchase route is Apple In-App Purchase. Before enabling it we must complete merchant setup, purchase verification, consent and receipt records, required notices, restoration and cancellation testing. Apple limits introductory offers by subscription group. A preview labeled Trial does not establish eligibility or start a billing clock.
You can manage an Apple subscription in your Apple Account's Subscriptions settings, or through Apple subscription management. Apple advises canceling a trial at least 24 hours before it ends. Account deletion, unlinking a partner and deleting the app do not themselves cancel an Apple subscription. Refund requests for purchases billed by Apple use Apple's refund request process, subject to applicable rights and Apple's decision.
When access ends
Saved content is not deleted solely because Plus ends. Calendar edits and the two free colors remain available. Saved movies, activities and gifts remain readable; premium additions and status changes stop when access expires. Export, content removal and account deletion do not require payment. Active purchase entitlement, renewal, refund, revocation and cancellation handling must be tested before paid access is launched.
There is no separate web payment checkout. Material changes will require updated terms and any notice or consent required by law. Operator identity, jurisdiction and final purchase terms still require confirmation before commercial launch.
Terms of Service
Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 13 to create an account. If under 18, review these terms with a parent or guardian and obtain their permission where required. Keep your credentials secure and use a username and display name that do not impersonate someone else. Password recovery is not currently available for username-only accounts.
Using a shared space
You decide whether to invite or link with another account. Accepting an invitation shares content with that account. Only upload or connect information you have permission to use and share. Do not use the service to harass, exploit, stalk, infringe rights, distribute unlawful content or attempt unauthorized access. Do not upload intimate images without the subject’s explicit permission or any sexual content involving minors.
Your content
You retain your rights in your content. You give the service permission to store, display and transmit it only as needed to provide the features you request and operate the service. Linking a partner lets that partner view and use shared content in the space. You can unlink through Us → Disconnect.
Price and external purchases
The current beta is free. There is no checkout, paid subscription, automatic renewal or payment-card collection in this version. Budget fields and price labels describe plans or external products; they are not charges. External businesses set their own prices. Any future paid offering must clearly disclose its price and require a separate affirmative purchase; these terms do not authorize future charges.
Availability and third parties
This is a beta and features may fail or change. Keep independent copies of important information. Map results, film information, availability and calendar synchronization may be incomplete or inaccurate. External services have their own terms. Jericho does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or suitability for emergency or critical scheduling.
Leaving and requests
You can unlink a partner, disconnect integrations, clear device data and request account deletion without purchasing anything or giving a reason. Account deletion is processed online after password verification. Data-only requests are manually reviewed. Shared copies may remain with another person. Access may be restricted where reasonably necessary to address misuse or security issues. These terms do not limit rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
Updates and questions
Changes will be identified with a new effective date. Material changes requiring agreement will be presented for acceptance. See Business & contact.

Shared content safety
Do not share harassment, threats, exploitation, or intimate images without consent. In Us → Safety & account deletion, privately report a partner or invitation and block the account to disconnect immediately. Blocking prevents new connections between those accounts until the block is removed. Reports enter a manual review queue; no emergency response or automated content scanning is promised.
Account deletion
Delete your account on the web or use the in-app deletion control. Confirm your password or recently reauthenticate with a linked Google or Apple account, then type DELETE. Success removes the login, sessions, private account records and saved integration credentials. Previously shared content may remain with the other member because older items have no reliable individual ownership record. Your Google account and Google calendars remain. Provider backup copies may persist until their retention periods expire. Safety reports may be retained without account identifiers for abuse review. If a request fails or the result is interrupted, check sign-in and retry; do not assume deletion succeeded.
